What GUJCET is

GUJCET (the Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) for admission to engineering and pharmacy undergraduate courses in Gujarat. Admission and counselling are handled by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

Who can apply

Candidates who have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12 (science stream) with the required subjects can apply — Physics and Chemistry with Mathematics for engineering, or Biology for the relevant pharmacy routes. Confirm the exact eligibility on the official site each year.

Exam pattern and syllabus

GUJCET is an offline, OMR-based (pen-and-paper) test of multiple-choice questions across Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (Biology for the relevant stream), based on the Gujarat Class 12 syllabus. The number of questions, marks, duration and marking scheme are published by GSEB each year — confirm the current pattern before you plan.

Admission through ACPC
