What WBJEE is

WBJEE is the state-level entrance examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy and architecture at universities, government colleges and self-financing institutes in West Bengal.

It is the main state route into engineering in West Bengal, used alongside JEE Main.

Who can apply

Candidates who have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12 with the required subjects (Physics and Mathematics, with Chemistry, Biology or a third subject as applicable) can apply. Exam pattern and syllabus

WBJEE is an OMR-based (offline) test conducted in two papers: Paper I is Mathematics, and Paper II covers Physics and Chemistry. All questions are multiple-choice. The exact number of questions, marks and marking scheme are set by WBJEEB each year, so confirm the current pattern before you plan.
