Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET)
TS EAMCET — renamed TG EAPCET from 2024 — is the Telangana state entrance test conducted once a year by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) for admission to undergraduate engineering, agriculture and pharmacy courses in Telangana (including B.Tech, B.Pharm, Pharm-D and B.Sc. Nursing). It is a computer-based test held in several sessions, on a syllabus in line with the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education syllabus. Questions are shown bilingually (English with Telugu, or English with Urdu), and marks are normalised across sessions. Seats are allotted through separate online counselling linked from the official site. MBBS and BDS are not among the courses it covers, and B.Arch applicants are directed to NATA. Pattern, marking and dates are set in the official notification and instruction booklet each year.

160 marks — 160 multiple-choice questions, one mark each, no negative marking (Engineering stream: Mathematics 80, Physics 40, Chemistry 40); ranks use normalised marks, and the qualifying mark is 25% of the maximum (none is prescribed for SC/ST candidates)
Eligibility
Indian nationals, PIO or OCI card holders who meet Telangana's local/unreserved status rules (the 1974 admissions order as amended). Engineering stream: passed or appearing in the final year of Intermediate (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (or a qualifying diploma), with at least 45% in the qualifying subjects taken together (40% for reserved categories), and at least 16 years old on 31 December of the admission year. The Agriculture & Pharmacy stream has its own subject and age rules (TG EAPCET 2026 booklet).
