What hotel management covers

Hotel management (also called hospitality management) prepares students for the hospitality industry. Common qualifications include the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc. HHA) offered through the Institutes of Hotel Management, and the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) or similar degrees and diplomas at other institutes — covering areas such as food production (culinary), food and beverage service, front office, and housekeeping, along with management subjects.

How admission works

Admission to the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) and many other institutes is commonly through the NCHM JEE, a national entrance test for hotel management, with private institutes also offering their own routes. The eligibility and process are set officially each year, so confirm the current details before applying.
