KCET

Karnataka Common Entrance Test

KCET is the Karnataka state entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission to first-year undergraduate professional courses — including engineering, agriculture and pharmacy — at government, aided and private colleges in Karnataka. It is a pen-and-paper (OMR) test based on the Karnataka PUC Class 11 and 12 syllabus; seats are allotted through KEA online counselling, which may also weigh qualifying-exam marks for some courses. Pattern, marking and dates are set by KEA each year.
