IPMAT

The IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT, also written IPMAT) is the entrance test for the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), which students join after Class XII. IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak each run their own test, with separate applications, dates, eligibility rules and patterns. IIM Indore's IPM AT 2026 had three 40-minute sections — Quantitative Ability (multiple choice), Quantitative Ability (short answer) and Verbal Ability — and its graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and an MBA under a dual-degree programme. IIM Rohtak's IPM AT 2026 was an online test at test centres, with 40 multiple-choice questions each in Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability (plus a legal-reasoning section for applicants to its Integrated Programme in Law), and its programme leads to a BBA + MBA. Both institutes combine the test score with a personal interview, and IIM Rohtak also weighs Class X and XII marks. IIM Indore's admissions page lists other institutions that use its IPM AT 2026 scores, including IIM Amritsar, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Shillong, IIM Sirmaur and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
