CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test
CSIR NET is conducted by NTA in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for five science disciplines: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. It determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor / Lecturer in Indian universities and research institutions. The exam has three parts: Part A (general aptitude, common to all), Part B and Part C (subject-specific at different difficulty levels).
