COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test
COMEDK UGET is the entrance test that COMEDK (the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) conducts for first-year B.E./B.Tech admission to the unaided private engineering colleges of KUPECA (the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association) that take part in its process — around 150 colleges, per the 2026 brochure. It is open to eligible candidates from across India. The computer-based test is in English only. It has 180 multiple-choice questions — 60 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics — based on the CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabus, with no negative marking. The test may run in several sessions, so ranks use percentile scores normalised across sessions. Seats are allotted through COMEDK's centralised single-window counselling. Despite the consortium's name, medical and dental admission is through NEET, and B.Arch seats in COMEDK counselling use NATA or JEE scores. A UGET score counts only for that year's admissions.

Eligibility
Indian citizens, OCI and PIO candidates who have passed, or are completing, 2nd PUC/Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics and English plus Chemistry (or Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics). They need at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka), a pass in each subject, and all subjects from one board. Diploma holders are not eligible, as there is no lateral entry. Age follows AICTE/VTU norms.
